Our verdict
The natural choice for teams whose SEO work already lives in Ahrefs. Sign in with OAuth and your agent can pull the same data you'd look up by hand. Budget for API units, and ignore the old local server on GitHub: it is archived and does not work with MCP keys.

Ahrefs MCP is Ahrefs' hosted server that puts Site Explorer, Keywords Explorer, Rank Tracker and Site Audit data in front of your AI assistant. It's here because it is the official way to give an agent Ahrefs' link and keyword data, available from the Lite plan up.
